Default TX Newbie

Hi,
My brother found a nice old survivor for me in Las Vegas. It's a 1985 Monte Carlo with a 4.3 TBI motor. Paint is little faded and a couple of tiny dings but otherwise great shape and only 72000 miles on the clock! He drove it all the way to me here in Houston.
The car never misseda beat and I'm now rolling around town in it. The only thing I've done so far is add an Alpine head unit and decent speakers. Other than putting new shocks on and fixing the A/C I plan to leave it completely stock. Very happy to find this forum, look forward to being a member here.

grats! sounds like you got a good survivor. make sure the odometer doesn't roll over at 100,000 otherwise it could have 172000 or 272000 on it

Having a little problem uploading pictures, got one so far. The car has a documented 72000 miles. 1 owner, old guy who kept all the records and receipts.
