Default Traction activation light staying on

I have replaced sensors and hubs 4 times in 6 years. Done 1st time myself, next 2 times at my son’s shop (he an awesome technician). I also had them replaced at a different shop, cost a lot of money and of course my son doesn’t charge me labor. So this time he suggested taking it to Chevy. I’ve already read some scary post on here and don’t want to put out another grand to find out it will still fail. Any suggestions?

Those sensors are expensive and if I recall about 10 years ago the Chevy shop replaced a sensor somewhere and they said once installed it had no warranty

I am not sure where you live but you might want to check with the Service dept. and have them give you an estimate for the cost. I never go in there with out knowing what the cost is going to be.
*Now if there is another GM dealer around check with them also. The Buick/Cad dealer has the same parts locaters as does the Chevy dealer.
*Some towns have multiple Chevy dealers.
*Or you could try a salvage yard if you have a U-pull it get the sensors there and replace them yourself.
* One other thing you might check is pull off the sensor and clean the electronic connections then put them back I read or heard that some of the things just get a little corroded, and if you can clean them if possible you maybe able to save the unit. Here is a youtube repair I found that maybe of some help.

Couple of weeks ago I was thinking I needed a Radiator flush, so I checked at the local Chevy dealer and it was about $100.00 plus tax or so and I got a new thermostat too.
So I am waiting for the work to be done and I asked the Service manager how long it was going to take yet. He tells me that the technician is about to put the pan back on and put in the ATF, I said what?
I only wanted a Radiator flush the Service advisor lady put in the wrong code for the work. So I got a Trans service and filter and a Radiator flush. the trans service was no charge.
I couldn't believe it. I was out of there for just around $175.00 the stupid thermostat was 68.00.
He told me that is why we should sit down with the customers and go over the work order.

Step #1, have the car scanned and find out why the light is on. Not all scan tools can read these codes off the ABS system, but a GM Tech II can definitely read it. Once you know the code, you can then diagnose the issue better.

I'd be willing to bet it's a misfire. Since transmissions became electronically controlled, rather than the CEL flashing and the car bucking, what tends to happen now is the problem goes downstream into somewhere else in the car. I had a bad plug in my cylinder #7, and as a result, the tranny shifted violently, the DoD went out, and (ta daaaa) the traction control went out. Misfires in my wife's Tundra and SRX have caused similar results.

For clarification, do you mean you have replaced all four hubs four times?, has each hub been replaced only once?, has one hub been replaced more than once?, if so which ones?
I agree with drivernumber3 and The-Maniac, the wiring harness is often overlooked and a GM Tech 2 scanner or one that can emulate a Tech 2 will tell which wheel has the problem.
Also, were the replacement hubs good quality? By concencess here, Timkin or ACDelco seem to be the hub of choice. What year is your car and how many miles?
