Default Thank you for the add

Thank you for the add. Do not currently own a Monte Carlo but I turn 60 in 3 years so I go shopping then for my ride. Looking for a 2000 to 2004 SS. So looking for suggestions/advise on purchasing the car. Thank you.

Thanks for the welcome. Not sure? I think '05 was supercharged correct?

to the forum.

Yes the 05 SS was supercharged, but they added a trim level just for 2005 and called the N/A version an LT. So you could look for a 2005 LT also if you wanted.

But I do recommend getting the supercharged engine, it's a stout engine and very fun to drive.

Thanks for the reply. I am open to a SS, LT, or LS model. Obviously the SS would be my first choice. In all honesty I just want something very nice that's not been damaged or beat on that I can just take the Mrs. out for a nice drive in.

Welcome! 2004 and 2005 were both supercharged. I used to have an 03 SS, nice cars. The 3800s are great engines.
