I'm in Africa right now doing some stuff with the Marines. I just bought a Monte because my sister totalled the Grand Am I let her use while I'm away. All I have is two rolls of pictures on the way to me via snail mail to tell me all about my car. It's the most basic SS package of the 04 Monte Carlos. Perhaps someone can e-mail me and tell me more about it. I got black, it was a lease and it has 6000 miles on it. I found it over here searching the web on usedcars.com. My dad went to the dealership and told them my story they marked a 21000 retailed vehicle down to 16995 and then to 15200 when my dad finished my story. I love the look of the Monte Carlos I see online. Someone please let me know what I have to look forward too.

It sounds like you got one heck of a deal on your new SS. I have a 2003 which was purchased new and I must say it has been the best car I have ever owned 20,000 miles later. Other than that, words just can not express more. You will also find that there are a ton of aftermarket parts for your MC to improve both performance and appearance. When is your assignment over in Africa?
