Supercharger in the air intake...

Default Supercharger in the air intake...

I saw a supercharger on supercharger.com i think it was and thay had this fan blade looking deal that went in the cold air intake. and thay calld it a supercharger now i havent never seen a supercharger that look like that. but thay said that it gives 7 to 15 HP i think so what do yall think about that i wonder if it realy works. and allso thay had an electric one to how about that ...

These are just gimicks. Don't waste your hard earned money on them.

They cause more restriction than they help. They have no way to power properly to spin fast enough to supply the proper amount of air to give boost.

Run a belt to it from your crank pulley.

Wrong section too. You would have been closer putting it in forum info.

Well ok, thanks for the info it was a little harsh but i ask for it LOL. i'll tell ya what im probably going to leave the supercharger pipe dream alone for now because i just cant aford a few grand write now for one. i guess i'll do the simple basic bolt on's for now i mean i understand what yall are saying if its useless i dang shure dont want it. maybe i'll try that Gforce chip unless its a dud to well thanks guys...

Before I get criticized, I understand WHY this SuperCharger is junk.
BUT, I see why strypergt was asking about it. Just looking at it and reading about it, it really does sound like good idea. Heck, I know large commercial buildings sometimes use fans in the duct work to assist the with moving air (as a blower on a furnace sometimes needs a little assistance.
I'm not supporting the product, BUT I wonder if there is a low cost way to build a RELIABLE and performance gaining product with a fan in the air snorkel....

Though, I'm sure if there was, ZZP, Intense and a few others would already be doing it.

Thanks maniac, i see 3831 has a problem with the gforce chip also well let me ask a question. almost every thing iv'e seen for these cars well not every thing but some of the little stuff. everyone sais its junk whats up with that is anything worth a $&it so what kind of chip can i use then well holler at ya later...
