Default Sup....

Just bought a 2002 Monte Carlo SS three weeks ago. Dude sold it to me because he thought the engine was going bad but it turned out just being a plugged cat.....yeah pretty dumb of him, but lucky me!!!! Bought the car for $3200with only 90000 miles on it and themonte runs sosmooth.

Hope to meet some nice people on here!!!!!

Welcome Michael from Ohio to the MCF family. Got any pics?
The cat' is probably THE #2 problem with these cars. #1 is the intermediate steering shaft wearing out. EVERY W-body has this problem, no exceptions! If you are luck, you can grease it now, and save some grief!

Yeah, I heard about the steering wheel problems, i'll probably post some pics up sometime this month (i'm back in class on the 12th)
How much is it to fix whatever it is that goes wrong with the steering wheel problems, assuming the worst case scenario?
