Default Second time around

Well it has been a while since I've been here. But I'm back again with another, and hopefully better, Monte Carlo SS. 2003 in the Berry Red configuration. Much nicer than the 2002 from before. It's a reconstruct so I know that there are some bumps and bruises along the way, like, when did the front valence support cost $127? Anyway, I have to say this forum was a big help on a lot of the last issues with the other Monte Carlo. I do have one piece of advice to give for anyone fighting a vacuum issue on the breathers and such. Before you go throwing money at them, a brass hammer is your friend. The last one had in issue on the EVAP system. The diaphragm gets stuck. Tap it on the side and the top and it will resolve the issue. I used a slightly bigger one, but. it does the trick. These older cars and the newer parts don't always mesh well and sometimes get stuck. Even if it is OEM piece, and you don't want to replace it, just some gentle taps will take care of it.

Welcome back! I read stories all the time about the owners of the 6th Gen MC having something of an issue, I have to give them credit for sticking with it even though it is one thing after another.
