I want to sell my LS and get a SS SC, do you have to buy the SS as an SC or you can have an SS and Supercharge it???

you can swap the powertrain from your LS to an L67 motor (its easy)
you can swap the powertrain from your LS to a L36 *04 GTP motor, easy minus intake swap.
you can supercharge a 00-03 SS or 04-05 LT, (easier)
you can buy an 04-05 SS that already is supercharged (esiest)
you can swap to an LS4 5.3L (Really Hard)

yea there is alot of things you could do to get the loud exhaust, with or without mufflers, mine is an LS with an SS exhaust set up, a cherry bomb ressonator, magnaflow high flow cat, dual flowmaster super 44's and its LOUD.... loud enough to scare most mustang and camaro guys.

that's really up to you, i personally am converting mine to look like an SS i've got everything ready waiting for spring to do the conversion beside the engine which i'm gonna hold off on till i blow my current one and swap into a supercharged 3.8 which will be cheaper than buying a car that already has it cuz i rather do modifications rather than payments...

If you really want an L67 powered car, I would recommend seeing if it was feasible to trade-up. Especially if that is your only car.

my honest opinion i say trade your monte on a non sc 3800 then top swap it. by doing this it will keep your insurance down a little and also the non sc cars are cheaper than the sc cars. even after doing a top swap im bet it will still be cheaper. but if u dont feel comfortable doing the swap then i say just buy the sc 3800 from the start because by the time u pay someone to do the swap you will be spending more money.

you will make more power from getting a 3800 then top swapping it.

if it's your only car I would get it stock s/c'd
