Prospective Monte buyer here....
5th Gen = 95-99
06-07 was never classified as a new generation. We call them 6.5's but they really are still just part of the 6th. A lot of the car is still the same for it to be a different generation.
One would think it SHOULD be a seperate gen. To me they look nothing alike. I like the '06-'07 ok, but I LOVE the '00-'05.
heyyy! i'm kinda late to this one but better late then never right :p welcome to the forum! i have an 04 supercharged monte carlo ss and it gets me into trouble all the time and it has nothing to do with me only being 18 either
if you are looking for beauty, power and classic muscle i would try to get a 1971 or 1972 monte carlo with a 402 big block chevy engine in it. or you could always get a 1986 with a 406 and 4-barrel in it...thats what my race car has in it. wait actually my dad took the 4-barrel out and put a 2-barrel in it but still. or the 04 supercharged model will do if you want newer
idk if you wanna go into hella specific mechanics then i guess any model will work if you got some moola to spend on it. but good luck!
