Default Power steering fixed, finally (4th time), but.......

2004 SS 3.8 non turbo, I got the power steering fixed and went to take it for a drive and now it wont shift out of 1st gear and the speedometer dont work, and its rough idling. Hopefully one of you will have had this problem so you can help me. If not then Im about ready to put it in my barn, cover it up and be done with it. Ive put $2000 into this in the past 2 years and it just wont let up. The only reason I keep dumping money into it is because when its game on, she runs like a SOB. Ive never had a V6 set me back in the seat like she does, but my god, the maintenance!! If you cant open them up now and then without something breaking then it needs to belong to someone with more money than me. Thank you for the help on the power steering.

Not trying to blame anything on you, but the VSS, cam sensor, and crank sensor are all right in that area you were working in. Id go back and double check the wiring to be sure nothing got unplugged / cut by accident.

Thank you, yes I did go back and there is a green two wire plug down there right at the pump, in a little towards the engine plugging into what looks like the block, the there is a single line that was bare and I taped up - couldnt see where it goes.there a connector before it went to wherever they wired it too. Nothing is easy to get too. Thanks again.
