OK, so I signed up to this forum a month or so ago and did mostly some reading, not a lot of posting. Then I realized, I probably made an "oops" in proper forum etiquette and never posted a "new member" greetings posting.

So here it is.... I live in the Cleveland Ohio area. I am a computer tech by trade and to be honest, I never really had any interest in cars until I was 16/17 years old (I was always into computers and I am still very much into computers).

I enjoy Sci-FI (like a few of the Star Trek series, Fringe and FlashForward). I also enjoy action shows like Burn Notice and Leverage. And comedy shows like That 70’s Show (no longer airing), Big Bang Theory and how mess of other shows. Favorite movies are the original Ghostbusters and the animated Transformers The Movie from 1986.

As for cars….
My first love when it comes to cars, my first love is the 3rd gen f-bodies (the second car I ever owned was an ’84 Z28 Camaro, I still have it but since 2003 it has been in the mode of “I want to restore it”, so it’s been in pieces since. I got LOTS of info about my Camaro on my web site http://crzyz28.sytes.net (I started that site around 1999 to learn how to build web sites and made the focus my Camaro).

It was about five years ago, I began really growing an interest in the 80’s Monte Carlos (just looked at them and thought “you know, these cars look really sweet”). I’ve been driving a ’94 Grand Am as my daily driver (today it is pushing 200K miles). In 2008, I thought it might be wise to find another car to consider a “daily driver” and I really had an interest in the 6th gen Montes. That’s when I landed on my 2004 Montes Carlo SS. It was a little more then my target price BUT it was also less miles and a new car then my original target. More about my Monte can be found here: http://crzyz28.sytes.net/04monte.html

Since my ’94 Grand Am still runs, I have parked my Monte every winter (since 2008). I love my Monte so much now that I am DREADING when it has to go to all year drive.
Anycase, perhaps a bit long but, that’s me.

Bout time you tried to become a regular here :P (bazinga)

Officially welcome. His website has some great information, I've read it a few times. That Camaro is just too sweet.

I was the same way, wasn't really INTO cars until I started driving them. I'm a nerd, and I love to know how everything works, so I really got into cars when I was using them.

Welcome to the forum!

Congrats on keeping your Grand Am running at 200K miles. That's a pretty good feat in itself.
