I was able to find a brand new, strictly stored set of original yellow letter Goodyear tires, I know they are super hard to find, let alone in this condition, but what Monte did they originally come on?

 

Wow that was a great find for sure. As near as I can recall the Yellow ones came out sometime in 2001/02 You could get them at most Goodyear dealers and special order at Sam's Club. then long about 04 the were just doing the White ones.
They did show up on the Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo in 03, But I never saw them on the O2 Monte Carlo Intimidator or the 04 Inimidator, or the Dale Jr. or the Tony Stewart Monte in 05.

This is me with a Monte Carlo I almost purchased in 2014 in Missouri. It was decked out in Dale Decals

This one came out as a Dealer car form DEChevy in 01 and someone purchased it from the Dealer

Those are some awesome pics, and yes, these tires are dated ‘04, from the research I have done they made them in 03/04,then made another variant with the word nascar on them later, which was also a short run themselves,

I couldn’t believe it when I seen them local to me, was ready to sell a kidney for them lol and if they don’t sell soon I may end up putting them in my classic simply because I need tires on there /: lol
