I'm Butch from Dracut MA.
I just acquired a 2001 Monte SS.
I've seen it's got 2, maybe 3 issues.
Gas gauge reads normal, then goes to E.
Headlights inop.
Dimmer messed up as it totally blanks out radio display.
And that's why I'm here.
It's my "new" daily.
I also have an 11 A5, 78 TA & 00 Vette.
Welcome to the MCForum. One thing I always do when I have an issue with the car is check youtube to see if there is something similar there and they will put up what they have done. My son in law had the 01 SS and he had a few issues with his I will try an check with him to see if he has an tips for the fixes you are needing.

"Issues" nearly resolved.
Replaced rear struts, got new tires & now need to replace the multi function switch & gas gauge sending unit.
Hit up my local bone yard this weekend & was able to get the dimmer, door lock & window switches for 15 bucks, not bad!
I've owned 2 GTP's before, & for not being supercharged, this 3800 NA car scoots along pretty nicely!
