2002 Monte Carlo SS here, (pix later on) From EP TX. i traded my 03 Z71 for this baby, gotta say i miss my truck but for financial reasons i had to downgrade.. I'm barely bonding with my L36. First time owner. Long time Chevy fan. just looking for sum good tips on squeezing out a little more HP an TQ from this sucka. SO uh i guess ill be seeing you on posts now and them, What do you guys think about this set up. KNN FIPK, overkill tune, and turbo mufflers, Ubend delete. College student funds here so cant afford hardcore mods here (for now) So Yay or Nay on this set up and ill keep looking around for different opinions and whatnot.

K&N is a waste of money, and a terrible CAI. Try the Wizaired from ZZPerformance.com
Overkill tune is NOT needed until you mod further.
Mufflers do nothing for performance, so if you like the sound of them on these cars go for it.
U-Bend delete is a good idea.

Hi Netz, & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family
I don't think you downgraded, but just had to do what you had to `do...
How many miles on your Monte S.S.?
Is everything in good shape ?
I like your projected mod's, but I would make sure that your Monte is tuned & everything in decent condition...
Look 4ward to seeing your pictures & reading what options you have & more about your Monte Carlo..
Explore the MCF and use our search engine for subject(s) of interest & if you can't find ~> just make a post & ask...
Wish you safe/fun/fast trouble`free miles in your Monte
Good Luck & we look forward 2 your future posts

Welcome to the forum.
To add to what Chibi suggested, exhaust wise, you could throw a ZZP 2.5" downpipe with highflow cat (would go well with a CAI).
I would also suggest a resenator delete. Some people claim the exhaust then has a "droning" sound and doesn't sound right. I did it (mainly because I was destroying baffles on aftermarket resenators 3-5K miles). I think the sound is a touch tinny, but not a big deal.
There are plenty of mods available, there is also a lot of "hyped" mods (sound interesting, take good money from your pocket only to turn out they are crap and don't yield ANY benefit).
