Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Looks like my dream wound up turning into a nightmare. Drove 2 hours to go look at and pick up the car. Man was I disappointed and quickly backed out of the deal. Drove down there in the rain
They said it had 113,000 on the odomeeter. I get there and it has 143,000 on it. ok whats a few added miles. So I starting looking it over as the owner said it was a clean well taken care of car. Umm as I am looking over the car you could see it was rear ended previously if you looked hard you could see that the Drivers quarter panel had a wrinkle in it, the rear bumber and trunk was poorly mispainted, (more of a flat black vs. the original gloss black) the trunk wouldnt even open, the drivers side wiper didnt move. The sun roof along with the side view mirrors would not open or move. Drivers side view mirror was cracked in half. Stereo buttons, and heated seat buttons where either missing or broke the door seals on both doors leaked, and the botton of the drivers door was sprung. It road like a lumber wagon and had rice burner mufflers on it that produced so much drone you couldnt even here the radio which by the way wasnt even the correct factory one. What a waist
Good thing I have a few others lined up - Tomorrow I am going to re look at a 03 Pace Car I had looked at previously which needed some things but nothing as close as to the one I went to see/pick up today
