Hi folks, new guy here. This is actually my wifes car but I get to drive it quite a bit. It's a 2003 model with just over 70k on it now. We bought it used in 2004 from Dale Earnhardt chevrolet with just under 20k miles on it. It has had one annoying little problem with it that we've been dealing with since we bought it, but I'll post about that in the tech forums. It's an SS model with the 3.8l normally aspirated V6 in it. Anyway, here's a photo for you guys to see.

Haha, thanks for the welcome. I was in the military, USAF, for ten years, but it has nothing to do with my screen name. Probably 10 years ago or so I was trying to join another online forum, while drinking beer and tequila no less, and was trying to come up with a screen name. Of course every one I came up with was already in use and I was getting frustrated trying to find one that was different. Well, my wife was watching Forrest Gump and the scene where Tom Hanks is wheeled into the hospital yelling "Icecream, Icecream, Lt. Dan, Icecream!" came on and it came to me. I've been using it ever since. It's unique and I've never seen it anywhere else. If you do a search on google for "IcecreamLtDan" you can find other sites where I use it.

Hello!!! Nice SS. I'm kinda partial to black SS's as you can see from my avatar. You mentioned that you bought your SS from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Is there a Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet logo on the rear of your SS? If there is,could you tell me where it is or post a picture.The reason I asked is that I purchased alogo emblemfrom Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet onlineand want to make sure I attach it in the correct location on the rear of my SS.
