Hey everyone thought I would drop in a say hello. My name is Kenny and I live in Kansas City. My wife and I just picked up a 77 Monte last month as a anniversary gift to each other. I had a 77 Monte when we started dating and sold it before we got married and told her one day we would get another. Well it took 26 years but here she is. I found it one night while searching eBay, started e-mailing back and forth with the seller and we agreed on a price pending us driving to Alabama to look at the car. So one Friday after work we jumped in the car and headed South. We liked what we saw and bought the car, had it transported up to Kansas City and now the fun begins. It has the 305, 52,000 original miles, pretty clean body with a few door dings and what looks like some rock chips on the nose and on the drivers side fender and door. The interior is in great shape, the front seat is faded some and the carpet needs replaced along with the cracked dash. We plan on some fresh paint and an engine upgrade, but for now we are just going to drive it and enjoy it. I look forward to getting to know some of you guys and talking about Monte Carlos.
