this girl's mom i know has a yellow monte like that but more of a corvette yellow. she tinted the windows less than 20% and put a black pinstripe to go with the fender grooves. It's AWESOME that car is so clean! i was able to convince her to buy some sweet rims and low pro tires. there is so much you can do to a 3.8L but monte's are kinda limited to appearance parts i have found. welcome to the site! sorry about your dad.
Haha, thanks Space for the praise, but there are a few more guys that have taken their car farther than me... but just wait =)
Anyways, welcome to the site! I should forewarn you two things:
1) Naturally aspirated mods are difficult, expensive, and time consuming.
2) Naturally aspirated mods will not get you anywhere near as fast as you will eventually want to be.
My suggestion to cancel the two above? Go either Turbo, or if cost is an issue, look into throwing an L67 top end swap on your engine. Seriously? You can find used parts online for cheap, and do the work yourself, and THEN you can worry about cams, etc, later on. =)
Any more questions, ask away, but Rob (Lav74) and Wayne (Rocknss04) Will also chime in as far as taking mods farther...
The good news, is that the TOG headers will work on any 3800 block, as long as you aren't looking to go turbo. That is when you need an entirely different exhaust setup.
Hope that helps a bit.
Oh, and ZZPERFORMANCE.COM has a great variety of products as well. =)

Welcome Mephistopeles to the Monte Carlo Forum. Since you haven't disclosed your name or locatio, We can only make some assumptions on what your name means.
1. By the looks of your vehicles and what you have said so far, you are into BIG power, and untimately speed. Therefore, one logical choice would be taken from the name of the last vehicle to set a land speed record on a public road, the Fiat Mephistopeles II, back on July 12, 1924. That's kinda cool.
2. You are a fan of English opera, as this was the name of an opera. NOT!
3. You are a fan of comics (maybe), but you LOVED the current movie Ghost Rider, and you are a Peter Fonda fan (and SO many people are), that it came from that character of said movie "Mephistopeles". YUP that's the ticket!
OK, so what's your 1st name and where are you from? We are family around here. Don't be shy.
I diasagree with Keagan about the possibilities of an N/A engine vs the S/C, depending on the depth of your pockets, and by the description of your F350, your pockets are adequate. It just depends on how you look at things. The biggest advantage we have with the L67 S/C cars is that the have the 4T65E-HD transmissions, bigger axles, and a bigger fuel pump and fuel lines. HOWEVER, IF you want SERIOUS power from your L36 or for that matter the L67, you need to file 13 the S/C in favor of a turbo. PERIOD! That's where the L36 has an advantage. It has higher compression ratio, which translates to more HP when you start boosting. Easier to get to where you are going, unless you are doing a complete rebuild. Still drivable, but it works better. And I don't care WHAT engine you have, you WILL have to start beefing your tranny, cause that will be THE weak link.
As for sources, Intense has a 600hp car, but Zoomer at ZZPerformance has 900hp from his, and is running 9.01 in the 1/4 mile! Both places are THE only two sources for SERIOUS performance, as anyone else is just selling kits. I'm closer to ZZP, so I can drive to there in just over an hour. Last time there, a seen a GP with a L67 still having the M90 housing, but running a turbo, cranking out OCER 450 WHP on there dyno! And still tuning! alk to Tim. Kyla will answer the phone. I've talked with Brian at Intense. Either is a good source.
IMO, go with the turbo kit with a L36, if you got the $$$$

Those two statements, one from me, and one from you, is EXACTLY what I was trying to say. I think you misunderstood my statement. Lol. You are talking about FORCED induction (I.E. Turbo, S/C, etc)
But he WON'T get where he needs to be with only rockers and a cam, and no force multiplier like a Turbo or S/C.
