Default NEW TRYING TO REBUILD

Hi everyone... me and my husband just bought a 86 Monte SS with everything still original. And as it is crazy too see now a days we both appreciate the american muscle as it was in its original state so that is what we are planning on doing with this one. I join this forum because I am not really car smartso I will probably be asking a crazy amount of questions so I won't be in the way when I try to help him work on it.

Hi Brandy!
Welcome to the site. I had to check your location, because a friend of mine's wife is named Brandy.

An 86 Monte Carlo SS in original condition is a rarity indeed! Thereare still people out there who love to keep their car looking like it did when it came off the assembly line. A lot of times these are the most sought after cars, and can demand a very high price when they become a classic.

Welcome.

The '86 SS sounds nice. We do require all members to post bunches and bunches of photos of their cars from time to time. Can't wait to see your's.

I happen to own an '86 Monte myself. Not and SS but the LS model.

Welcome and ask away. I have been toying with my Monte for over 5 years now and still find myself asking question. And I use to work as a mechanic.
