New Owner from West KY
New here from Western Kentucky. Current Grand Prix owner and Now, a Monte Owner.
So. I picked up a 2003 Monte Carlo with 175,000 Miles. Minor deer damage And the car would not run. And had been overheated.
I gave 250$ for it as it sat, So I drug it to the shop and began checking it out.
Tried cranking it and it sounded fine, Sounded like it had good compression. I replaced the 3 Front plugs and she fired up.
I listened to it for a minute and the bottom end sounded fine. So I drove her home and begun teardown.
Well, I apologize for the Scattered mess here But ill let the pictures speak for themselves. Both head gaskets were gone, And the LIM was about to.
Its not out of the ordinary for me to find things like this.
I work Full time for a Auto Body shop we deal with IAAI Cars.
