i have an 02 monte and i need to replace the back speakers but im not sure how, can anyone help? thanks.

If it's like the 97 MC's you have to remove the rear seat to get to the rear deck, to remove the rear speakers. there should be a couple bolts under the rear seat, and then you can remove the bolts for the rear back support.

when i pull the back seats down, there are 4 bolts that appear to be holding the deck in place and i cant manage to get those to come out

you can;t get at them by folding the seats down, you have to physically remove the rear seat.

read my first post.... there should be bolts under the rear seat (close to where you legs would be if you were sitting in the rear), and that will take the seat portion out. then it will expose the bolts for the rear portion.
