Just wanted to say thanks for the warm welcome! This weekend it should be cool enough here to do some work on it. Starting with the drivers side seat warmer, then replacing valve cover gaskets. I get a puff of white smoke every once and a while so we think that may be the problem.

Do you mean the intake manifold gaskets? They might cause white smoke as coolant leaks into the intake, but the valve cover gaskets certainly wouldn't cause anything but an oil leak.

I was actually told it was called valve stems, but that didn't make sense. When I looked up the parts, I found valve cover gaskets. I'll have my hubby give me a lesson tonight since he's the one that has to watch over me and make sure I don't mess anything up

A little puff of smoke on initial startup is prob valve stem seals. That's what someone meant I would assume.
The gaskets are prob fine if you don't have any obvious leaks around them.
