Default New Monte Carlo Owner / Lover

Hello Everyone,

I am a new Monte owner, and I LOVE it....I had no idea this car was so awesome otherwise I would have gotten on a long, long time ago. So, I got a super deal and now have an awesome 03 Monte SS, it only has 36,000 miles on it and oh did I mention I LOVE IT :p

Anyways, I am already looking at some rims, but I was wondering if any of you wise Monte owners had any modification suggestions for me...I would like to really do some cool stuff to her...any help would be appreciated

There is a sticky for all the 3800 mods for your L36 engine. Start with a look at that. I would do the basic breather mods first if you want larger rims so the car runs a little better for that added weight and stress.

Breather Mods = Intake / Downpipe combination. (possible rockers)

Welcome to the forum.

Once you start reading and seeing what other members have done to their Montes, your mind will start spending your money for you.

It has for me. LOL. In addition to the threads, there's lots of ideas in member's photogalleries. Click the "Photo Gallery" link at the top of the page.

Good luck, and don't be afraid to ask anything. We'll all be glad to help out the best we can!

Welcome! Great find! I owned my 03 since brand new and I have only 24k on it. It's my show car and I wanted to preserve it so I picked up a used 05 SS so I have the best of both worlds!
