Default 2000 ss 3.8L

Just got my 2k ss and i love it , there is only one problem with car that would be the driverside window wont roll up .... can someone please point me in the right direction....... and im glad to be here I have big plans for this ss .

Welcome t the forum man.

As far as the window. Have you checked the fuses? If they are good, Its passable that its the switch that went bad. Its kind of a common thing. You might want to take the door panel off and see if anything got disconnected.

Welcome to the MCF forum.
Yes, start with the fuse, but it's possible it's the switch or the motor. At almost a decade old, it could be any of the above.

Welcome to the site - I am guessing it's the power window motor also.

Welcome....Probably the motor...and if you hear a grinding type noise when you try to raise the window, then the regulator cable snapped...Common problem, but if you know someone that can fix it, it will be way cheaper than taking it in...Dealer will charge $400 plus for power window!

I had same issue- change the switch first. I pulled a dummie move by ordering the window regulator BEFORE even checking the switch...yup, it was the switch.

Ironically, my driver window regulator JUST DIED!

Oh, GM... you dug your own grave...
