welcome to the site. The carb probably does need a rebuild. Once all the stuff dries out in the carb it can cause a lot of problems.

is this some sort of super custom monte thats awd or has independant suspention?

86's never had cv joints

did you changed the gas if wasnt started recently the gas these days goes bad quik!!!!!!!!!!!also welcome to the forum your gonna love all of us....lol
