Hi all!

I just joined the Monte forum. I have a 2003 SS Pace Car. Don't need anything in particular at the moment, but wanted to introduce myself. I bought it new in 2003. It has about 64,000 miles on it. Only summer driven, garaged all winter (I'm in Vermont, and salt is not kind to Chevy's here)

It's completely original except the windshield. Except for 3 or 4 recalls, it's never been touched except for scheduled maintenance.

I'll try to attach a picture.

Extra neat you are the original owner. Nice low mile car you have kept for yourself. Looks beautiful, one can not be hating on a Blue Monte at all.

Nice monte you got there. So do you think you will ever do any mods to it or do you just want to keep it original?

 

No plans to do anything except keep it stock. I special ordered it, and it has virtually every factory option available including heated seats and engine block heater. (which has never been plugged in)

The "Taz" decals that go on the windshield are still in the original packaging, never installed (illegal in Vermont)

I have the certificate that shows it as a numbered, limited edition pace car and I also have the window sticker.

I've driven it too much to consider it truly collectible, I just want to enjoy it.

Awesome that you got to pretty much customize it exactly how you wanted it from the start and have it delivered that way.
