Welcome to the forum. Have you looked at supercharged 04-05 Monte Carlos? I believe the sport about 240hp and are pretty reliable. With a few mods you can have it purring at around 300-320 hps.

I would love to check out an 04-05 supercharged but like I said earlier, I dont have enough. This is only,would be, second car. But thank you anyways montyss2

Besides autotrader.com, cars.com, ebay motors, and craigslist. Idk what else you could search besides finding the local dealerships in your area?

I was wondering how long did it take for you guys to find your Monte? I've been looking for a couple of months. I feel hopeless lol

I think it took me between 3-6 months to find mine after I got serious about looking. It could take longer to find a suitable 4th gen SS, though.

Let's say I widen up my search a bit. Which of the monte carlo's can I create into an 86-88 clone? for example I've heard of guys buying a LS model and putting an SS nose and spoiler on it making it look pretty close. What I'm trying to ask is that from what year to what year monte could i create into an 86-88 clone? Sounds kind of stupid but on google I believe ,if they were marked correctly, I saw a couple of 1984 LS that were cloned to look like an 86-88 SS.
