Default New Member thanks for having us!!

What’s going on, everyone calls me B. I’m representing The Florida area thanks for having me. I go nuts for Monte Carlos I own a 2006 Ls that I recently have been fixing up. I think these cars are absolutely wonderful. I’ve been driving my Monte for a while and she’s never done me wrong. Most of the work I’ve done myself besides the trans and that was preventative because of the 4t65e reputation as being weak which it can be. She riding on 20s the 235 40 20s give me enough meat to have that low pro look but doesn’t scare me sh$)less if I hit a bump to hard. I’m def not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to the Monte I feel as if the way cars are being made now this car is relatively easy to maintain. Here’s a look at what I got. Hope you all enjoy can’t wait to see what you guys and gals have. Always been a fan of this forum but now I decided to be apart of it. Salute!!! To you all!!! Hope you like.

she’s def clean as a whistle. small tweaks like blacked out grill but kept the gold and chrome on the from emblem and the rear as well as the name in the back. Nothing to drastic besides the rims.

Welcome to MCF, B! You have a nice, clean ride there....I like your look with the larger wheels, but I just can't bring myself to get rid of the factory ones on my car. At how many miles did you have to replace the transaxle? Mine crapped out at 82K. Got a shiny new one from GM back in July. Now she purrs along smoothly again...

Didn’t really crap out on me but definitely was a little jumpy so might have been on its way. I got a new one at about 118k. So now I let her have it with no worry😎. That and a oil filter housing pretty much all that’s been repaired. Everything else was done cuz I want her to be new as possible. The wheels are just my thing I’ll never go over 20 on any car I like to ride without fear and that’s the biggest meatiest you can go on these Without the crazy. Thanks alot
