Hey, Craig here from small town PA, joining yet another car forum. I've had a 2002 Monte since new, my 40th birthday present from me to me. Needing to do some work to keep it going, so look for more from me on that.
I also own 4 other Chevys (5 if you count my Tractor) and I've had at least one for 45 years. Looking forward to learning about the 'newer' models!

Welcome to MCF, Craig! It's cool that you've had the car since new. I bought a brand new '03SS but an old lady ran a traffic light and totaled me out at 33K miles..... Went seven years without one, then searched high and low for a good one and found my current daily driver, an '07SS. To this day it is still the most fun car to drive that I've ever owned... Treated it to some new headlights this weekend... Every time I think I'm getting tired of it, I polish it again and just can't bring myself to get rid of it, lol...

Thanks for the welcome, guys! It was my 3rd (and will be LAST) new car, traded a 97 Lumina on it. I had it a few days and it felt like the only car I ever owned. Except for some electronics issues and the current RUST issue, it's been trouble free. There's a pic of it in my 'album', but hey they all look alike, right?! There's also pics of my other rides as well, but this one is and always has been my number one.

Thanks, fellow 'Keystoner'! I'm from a little town named for Native Americans near the home of Little League Baseball.

I had a 91 and 97 Lumina new, and got the 93 I bought for my dad after he died in 09. (all sedans) Really liked the 1st gens, I drove my 91 through 11" of snow one day! Wasn't that crazy about the 97, except trading it for the Monte. The 97 was my first (and so far ONLY) interaction with an airbag, and it wasn't a pleasant one - I still have a 'frown' shaped scar from it.
I also had 2 other Montes, an 83 SS I bought from my dad after I bought the 93 Lumina for him, (emissions, wasn't going to pass. . .) and a 76 I had as a young man that I really liked - but so did the PA winters.

Can't believe it took me this long to find this place!
