New Member-Old Owner
Hello Forum,
New to the site. Have owned Monte Carlo's for over 35 years. Started with a 1972 that I paid fifty bucks for and drove the wheels off of it. Then a 1980 **** yellow with opera windows. Had a 305 4bb. Did ok for what it was. Wife hit a drunk with it and that was that. Next was a 1979 with a mild 350 and th350 trans. Car would fly once you got over 40 mph. Damn 2.29 gears. Went thought four transmissions, four rear diffs. and over 300k on the motor from when it was rebuilt. Car is long gone but I still have the motor on a stand in storage. Don't ask me why. I don't know. At the same time my wife had a 1978 t-top car. and I had a another 1979. both had 305s. Jump forward to 1998 and I bought a 1995 Z34. Had 43,000 miles on it. Now at about 270K. Has been sitting in storage for the last seven years or so. Just got it to work to start to get it running again.
