I guess I'll be the first one to ask. Did the certificate of authenticity come with it? If the previous owner still has it, be sure to get it from them. A lot of people like to keep it for themselves. Sometimes even sell it online. But it really should go with the car when you buy it. Just my opinion though. It should be a really thick (almost cardboard-like) grey paper with silver writing. It shouldn't look like something that came out of a photocopier.

I have the certificate. number 1,666 out of 4000. She purchased it new, it had every reciept from every oil change, and service, she had it detailed once a year. She also gave me a Earnhart blanket, coffee cup thing, and coaster that she had with it.
