Prospective member. My Cousin brought her 03 Monte to my house. Loved the style and ride but it was slow for me (v6). Did the research and found a V8 07 for sale in my town. Any special problems with this car to know of? What to look out for? The car has about 55k on the clock and he wants $11 thou for it. Is this in line? PS This is a present to myself, I'm 58 yr old Army vet, machine head into cars/Harleys since my first 69 Z28 in 1974. Been working 6 days/week, 11 hrs each mon/fri +sunday since November need a new toy bad.

 

That is a real good deal for those miles.
things to check for:
Transmission shifts smoothly. Test drive it and make sure, with 55k miles you should be fine but the transmissions in these cars are the weak spot.
Rust. The 7th gen Montes are notorious for wheel well rust. Check and make sure it is all clean
If both of those are fine i say snag it that's a really good deal
