New Member- Need Advice
You will need more than just the supercharger if your car doesn't have a supercharger already. And fyi the 2004 Monte Carlo is a series 2 not series 3.
Google search "3800 top swap" or "3800 gen v swap" for more info

Thank you very much , my 2004 ss Monte Carlo is supercharged I took the nose cone to a high performance shop and was told it was a series 3 m90 Eaton v6 I bought this m90 used Eaton supercharger in excellent shape so I could get it on the road b4 I can afford a new one. Will the Grand Prix supercharger still compatible looks identicle to mine! Thanks again
On your 2004 Monte Carlo SS — The m90 is a GEN 3, but the engine itself is a SERIES 2, 3800.
On a 2004 Grand Prix — The m90 is a GEN 5, and the engine is a SERIES 3, 3800
You can upgrade your L67 to the GEN 5 blower, but it's not a direct swap. Here is a link that outlines it pretty well: The Eaton Gen V supercharger faq / swap thread!! (genv, gen five, gen 5))
Conversely, you can just get your GEN 3 blower ported and see similar gains.
