To run a 3.0 safely you will need to have a way to monitor your KR.

Then you will need the CAI, headers, intercooler, 180° thermostat, colder spark plugs, 1.9 modified rockers, ported SC inlet and outlet, fuel injectors, springs, larger TB, and a DAMN good tune, not one of these already tuned for you, a custom tune.

save your money on the wizair and make your own . on a side note im glad someone else chimed in . Also if you dont wanna do an intercooler and rockers to run a 3.0 you can get a cam and headers and air box and 105 or 110 springs. The nic cam would do it or an xp would take a little more work . You will also need a good tune as with anything and 42.5 injectors.

indeed, that's a WHOLE lot more than I ever plan on doing. Can you run a 3.25 or 3.4" pulley without so much? When I was setting up to install my ROUSHcharger, i got my hands on a 2.57" s/c pulley and a 90MM idler pulley that came with the ROUSHcharger kit (it's a used unit), I found out that i would need to retune the PCM after already having it reflashed by ROUSH. So i decided to just get rid of the s/c and idler pullies and just run the stock ROUSH high pressure boost 427R s/c pulley.

What have the other members with a supercharged Monte done, including those with Dale jr and other NASCAR Montes....? And, what kind of specs are you seeing with those modifications??

You can run a 3.3 probably with out too many mods. You will need headers, air box, rockers, 180 thermo, colder plugs and a reprogrammed PCM. You better off with those mods to run a 3.4 first

Now what I reccomed after all my mods is a gen v supercharger. Intercooler and zzp headers. About 2200 bucks worth of stuff That was you won't have to dig into the engine so everything should be reliable.

I have headers, cam, s3 intercooler,42.5 injectors and a few other things. Running a 2.8 pulley at 19 degrees wot timing.

Just do the standard 3.4 pulley with supporting mods. It's the cheapest and should put you from 240crank to about 280-300crank hp

Get the 3.4 Pulley, CAI, ZZP 3" Downpipe, ZZP Front Powerlog, 1.9 Rockers, 180° Thermo, Autolite 104 spark plugs, and ask ZZP for a PCM tuned with those mods for your car.

Shouldn't run more than $1000, you can even find a lot of those parts used on websites like clubgp.com/newforum

Thanks! Those numbers sound just about what i'm looking for. I don't want to intercool it, cuz i know how much those intercoolers can run after ROUSHcharging the Mustang. I'll have 450hp there, so i'm not looking to turn the Monte into a BEAST! Just looking for a few things and for under 1K that all sounds exactly what i'm looking for. And what about exhaust... ?? What's a decent sounding, performing exhaust to go with everything??

Thanks for all the assistance, VERY MUCH, appreciated!

Thanks Chirs... I read that, it sure does help! And thanks to all. I did see the ZZP package upgrade for around 600... Looked pretty good. We'll see where things go, as right now SPRING IS HERE, and I want to focus more on the Mustang then the Monte. But I will be doing some of those changes with it, once it gets a little later in the summer.
