So for an SS Supercharged 3800... is a Wizard CAI a better bang than a K&N? Anyone have a thrasher CAI available on 3800performance.com? I want to get a CAI system along with headers and a full exhaust, but haven't really done the research yet, or gotten any opinions. I see that corsa is a widley used exhaust for Montes... But I too wonder about what is THE top notch CAI.

Hypertech power programmer is under $500 and does wonders with shift points, shift firmness, top speed limiter cops can't go this fast, premium or regular fuels, improves gas mileage, and a notable acceleration pick up on premium setting running 94 octane.
Tried 94 octane before programmer and was def a difference with the programmer.

A fully-tuned PCM is going to be way more beneficial than a Hypertech programmer

Wizaired is the best, yes. Headers are a good idea for supercharged engines, Corsa is a huge exhaust with a huge price tag, you can EASILY have an exhaust for half of what Corsa charges.

Thrasher is out of business. I have the MSP CAI that I will be offering for sale as soon as I can get pics posted.

I actually just finished some research on the exhaust that was on my Monte and I found that it is the Corsa system with the 4 inch tips! So looks like I don't have to worry about replacing that! =]

Lucky, LUCKY!! Got a corsa all set up!! Great find on that Monte!!

I'm thinking dynomax or SLP exhaust for me... probably gonna do a package deal with 3800performance.com... minus the CAI.

pics! pics! pics! pics! pics!
