Hello from SLC Utah, I am new to this site. I own a 97 Monte Carlo, got my license in that car 5 years ago and still love it.
Its got 185,000 miles on it and I think its about time I start the L67 project. I thought of swapping for an LS4 a while back, which is possible but more difficult and expensive. The car still runs fine, only problem is the tranny runs on 3 of 4 gears. So I hope to get some advice on anyone here and a welcome

Welcome!
If you are going to do an L67 swap, it might be best to get it with trans from the car that you get a donor L67 from.

Thats gonna be step 2.
I been told I need to upgrade my brakes for all that, so my first step is the brakes.
So this website has a couple choices
ZZPerformance - F-Body Dual Aluminum Piston Brake Kit #ZZ-FBDY-BRKT
Brakes2: ZZPerformance - 12" Brake Upgrade Kit #ZZ-12BRKT
I kinda leaning toward the second one, any opinions? I will also be buying the transmission from this website
