Hi everyone. Just bought an 06 ss couple weeks ago. I have been browsing this forum for a while there are tons of great threads and lots of real good info here. Glad to have so many knowledgeable people that share a love for these cars.Has anyone had problems in extreme cold temps? -10 to -15

Only problem I've had with the colder temps, started last week actually when my area started with the latest cold spell. My battery dies when it gets too cold, other than that no problems that I've come across.

 

My battery has been good and the car always starts. Traction control will stay on for a while even after the wheels have regained traction. Only happens once then functions normally after driving for a mile or two. Also one time the airbag light was on for about a half an hour then was off next time I started the car. I chalked it up to super cold temps can do some weird things to electronics. Hope that's all it is. We aren't going to be above zero here until Wednesday afternoon so I guess I can do some more investigating. lol Happy to have found this forum.
