Hello from the humid, hot part of the rustbelt known as Ohio.I am currently reviving a 1972 triple black Monte that mom purchased new and stashed away after 5 yrs and 63k on the clock.Typical nasty tank syndrome and a set of T/A radials installed in 1975 that are as hard as my garage floor. Its not perfect,as it was our daily transportation for 5 yrs,but a nice, orig paint unmolested example for sure. She did purchase a lot of NOS parts in case it ever was damaged including two new ft fenders ,trim, grille and other small pieces(yep, mom was a car nut as well) getting the old girl out and going to breath some new life into her,but all stock.Would post a pic but I don't know how.

Welcome to the site - we had a triple black 72 - special order because Tuxedo Black was not available as a stock color for the Monte in 72. We sold it awhile back - still wish we had that car - 350 4 barrel dual exhaust

Thanks.I am waiting on a new fuel tank and sending unit.Old tank is nasty.I figure a complete fluid changeout including coolant and new tires as well and new rubber brake lines are in order before a roadtrip. My parents are moving and I have to go get the new parts she put away and fill up my available storage(lol)
