Hi....my name is George Bidleman and I am the proud owner ( just purchased0 of a 70 Monte with a 4 speed. the old story where my friend had one in high school so I thought I had to relive the glory days and own the same car! I am 61 and I love cars. I own two Chevy dealerships and 2 Ford dealerships too. I am not a snob when it comes to cars.....I love all cars !! Hope to get some useful info here to further my hobby ! Hi George Welcome to the MCForum I have had a bunch of Chevy's and my next door neighbor used to own the Ford Dealership, I had a few of those too.
Until one afternoon in December when we were having an ICE Storm, the wife left to go to an emergency call at the Hospital she was on Call. on the way home it was so icy she slid on the approach to a Railroad Crossing and the front wheel dropped in between the tracks, this was a rear wheel drive Aerostar and she couldn't get it off the tracks even with help. The east bound train went right in the sliding door and took it to the next crossing. This as a 7 passenger Van but now it was 3 inline . Later several of my friends asked me how do you get away with buying a GM van when you live next to the Ford Dealer. Well I said " they just don't hold up" . However the Intimdators twin shouldn't be driving a Ford anyway. Lol
