WHAT!?!? You guys fraking serious?

Now i feel liek a fraud/phony. Mine as well trade it for an SS one. So car enthusiasts might notice that its an LS, with Signatures Series emblems on it? And realize its not legit...

And ur right, it is a nice car. I'm just not someone to pretend something is, when it isn't.

The truth shall set your free, thanx for telling me, it is rather disappointing tho. I wouldn't have known otherwise...if it wasn't for the forum.

For fraks sakes, think I might trade it for a Blue SS...

Getting the SS with a 3.8, either N/A or Supercharged will open up a LOT of aftermarket options for having fun

Are there SS's with a 3.6? I liek having good gas mileage.

And these bad boys are fast anyway, so im not too worried about upgrading performance stuff, just cosmetics.

They used the 3.6L in the 06-07 models and they weren't the SS.

Maybe i have to bite the bullet, and trade when i once i pay it off and under my name. Its under my dad's name, but i don't feel liek making payments on a car i don't want. Esp' when its a fake Signature Series.

If they are only badges that are stuck on - couldn't you take them off?

True, I was thinking about that, but wouldn't that tear up the paint job? Then im gonna have to find new Monte Carlo emblems for the doors.

Hmm, would be more cost effective than trading for another vehicle.

But i was planning on touching up some paint problems on the car anyway...

Try dental floss or fishing line and if they are tough try and heating them up with a hair dryer - I think a heat gun would be too hot.

Good idea.

On my next days off, i'll wash the car, take some pics of the emblems. And get your guyz opinion on it(as well as the rust, but thats another topic). Maybe the racing flags on the door can stay, it don't say Sig' Series.
