hi Im new to this forum google helped me haha my baby is a 87 monte carlo ls it was stolen the second day i bought it got it back and repaired most of the damage that the car received now im doing the bodywork and getting it ready for paint and reupholster it and done

Yea it sucks when some SOB decides they deserve your car more than you do. Especially only after having it 2 days. At least what you got back is only taking some damage repairs.
I had my 87 Aerocoupe 10 years when the same thing happened to me. Though, there was more than just some damage. It was totally stripped and found on cement blocks behind some industrial center.
Check out its carnage.

When I initially went to see what was found, I did not even recognize it. I walked by it twice. They had to take me to it and place my hand on it....




Now after many years of sitting in my back yard, and my son having an interest in it, a doner car was found and part transfer has been happening.
Its painted, engine/trans all done, just needs interior finished up, and it will be back on the road again.
Here it is today.

There is hope, and it will live again....
