Put the Old key tumbler back in
Put the Old key tumbler back in and go to your Chevy dealer with the Vin # and have them get you the same key from GM.
The Radio doesn't control any of the resets in the vehicle so best thing is find a Salvage yard and or U pull It and take out the harness you need and reinstall it.
Every one for some reason has to put in a bigger radio system? For the short time you are in the Car why? Now if you use it for a job and put on 200-300 miles per day, I can see it. I had 2 Oldsmobile's that had a BOSE factory stereo system in it and there is nothing as good as a Bose
The combination of the loud stereo's and the Military has caused irreparable damage to my hearing and today the Ears Ring constantly.
Just a little tip to save your hearing if you go to a concert take earplugs with a min of 24dbs protection.
The result of the hearing loss today is that now the Radio no matter what is just noise for me.
