what do you have to do to program new key fobs can you do it through the radio

 

Yes , you can do it through the radio . I can't recall all the steps but it's in the owners manuel & you'll need all your fobs there when you do it .

 

You turn the radio off and access the menu... I think you hold the bottom butten in for 10 seconds or something... I haven't had a stock radio in awhile.

But you use the seek/scan buttons to get to the FOB programming menu and go from there.

It is really quite simple, but all the directions are in the owners manual. Chapter 5 or 6 if I remember.
