a few questions.

has anyone had problems with their remote? won't open car, but once i insert key...i can used remote no problem. they are telling me its a global issue.?? also looking for a cold air intake...any recomendations. would like to put on the nascar style spoiler. does anyone know if you can mount that spoiler in the holes that are there with the flat style. also looking for oem foglights. thank you and welcome any comments.

The spoiler should match up but ask your local dealer. As for getting a spoiler or fog lights try ebay you will not spend near as much for them. Hope this helps.

06/07 Monte and Impala's do have remote control problems.
There is a TSB out there on it. I am on a waiting list waiting on the new parts to come in to fix this problem.
Check this link out for more details

It should take you to the page for Anyone with an 06/07 tire pressure sensor problems?

As I understand the conplete body of the 06 Monte from the A pillar to the rear is the same. I may be mistaken that what I was told by my service manager whan I bought mine.

Have had my 06 almost a year haven't had any problems yet.

Not true. Because the tail lights are a little shorter on the 06-07, surely they had to accomodate that by way of the rear bumper cover and possibly the trunk lid and rear quarter panels. So much for that theory.

The spoiler and the deck lid are the same. the basic sheet metal are also the same. The taillights and rear bumper cover are different. Just passing on the info I got from my dealers body shop. Other than the shape of the nose (A Pillar forward)and tail facia the W body structure is the same from 2000 to 2006 is what I was told. I admit I am not a body expert just telling the original poster the rear spoiler from 2000-2006 will work for the style he wants. http://performance.thepartsbin.com/b...p;brandid=2897

We already know the spoiler will work on the car, but that wasn't the question. He was wanting to know if the holes used to hold the base spoiler on are the same holes used to hold the pace car spoiler in place? I don't think that question has been answered yet, but i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say no. There may be a couple of holes that you can use, but I think there will also be a couple holes that will be left unused and visible.
