new here

Hi all,
New member here. I made my first post yesterday without introduction.I'm not a mechanic but I know well enough that Monte Carlo cars are panty dropper

. My favourite year are 1978-1980's MC. Bought an 80 MC but I have to wait until saturday to pick it up. Small bodywork needs to be done but it still a beautiful car

. The car had 350 engine but the seller changed it to 355. I was gonna turn it into a lowrider but the guy said it had 550 HP, not sure if he is telling the truth but I really don't care. I just want to cruisearound city lights and holler at girls

. Probably a waste if I put hydraulics in it with 13" rims. I'm expecting engine problems with the car since I got it for cheap LOL. You all will see me here everyday lurking and reading post.

Welcome PCP to the Monty Carlo Forum. Glad to hear ya bought a classic Monte. Hope you enjoy it, and your "lurking" here, also. This is the FRIENDLIEST ad most helpful Monte Carlo forum on the web, and there are several. Where are you from? First name at least? Let's see some pic's.

One of my uncles had a '78 Monte Carlo and a '81 Monte (at different times). I always liked them.
