ok i got ya on the pictures, yea its been my favorite car since i was a kid and i had the opportunity and i just couldnt pass on it, i will try to get pictures up tonite, i look forward to gettin it done and on here

Welcome nice to have another 1st Gen. Easiest way to post a picture is to copy and paste to forum. This project will go real smooth if you have deep pockets and are single, last thing you will need is a wife coming in betweem you and your toys, lol...

Welcome to the forum. I also have a 1970 Monte Carlo that I bought in 1987. Mine also has a 396 that was put in the car in 1997. I know a lot about this generation of MC so if you have any questions, post here or PM me.
