I just bought my 1996 Monte Carlo Z34 3.4L DOHC with 56,134 miles on it (yea a granny had in from 1996 to 05 then sold it to her daughter) 2 months ago. I blew the brake line out the day I drove it home and had to replace both back lines. Did a full tune up on it. Then had the alternator go a month into owning it. However, I still the love the car and enjoy it.

My plans are not set in stone:
1. Fix the minor rust showing (NY and the lovely salt) and touch the paint upfirst agenda when spring comes
2. Deciding on wave or stripe down the side the resembles a Z
3. Installing fog lights
4. Installing tinted head lights and tinting the back ones
5. Installing a 3 piece spoiler
6. Installing a chrome grille
7. Changing in the interior up (all tan with some grey now)
8. Removing things that are needed in motor/engine area (You know all that extra stuff)

 

Welcome to the forum. The car looks good. Another low mile Z to the forum. I just rolled over 42000with mine.Have fun with the car!

 

I am already having a blast with it, minus all the fixing. I do plan on bring it to a drag stripe near me.
