you gotta be kidding me, is this a metallic black? Ive been wishing they would offer a metallic black forever. I would say that would look better than mine.

The colour has been offered on the Chevy Trailblazer in previous years, and I think it is also available on some Pontiac models, but they don't call it "Black Amethyst". The dealer gave me the full page colour swatch from the Trailblazer colour samples and in low light conditions or at night it does look black. In brighter conditions, it has a purple shade to it, with a lot of metallic in it.

I've been a fan of the dark colours, if they hadn't offered the new colours for 07, I would have gone with the Black. Can't really go wrong with black. I've also got an 05 Silverado Z71 and it's all black. Any dark colour with the silver accent looks OK to me. We'll see when I get it, hope I'm right, I'll have to live with it.
