Default new around here, with a pic of my mc

Never posted before, but have viewed alot ot the threads, thought id register and post mine. 00 monte ls 18'' chrome wheels with fusion zri tires. hoping to add some headers and a set of duals. Also am curious if all of the bumpers covers are interchangable? i like the rear bumper that some of the ss cars have they have spots for dual exhaust...

Welcome, sharp looking car you got there. The bumper on the SS that you speak of, is actually the same bumper you have, it's just an added Lip Kit. Hard to find for cheap.

Is your engine the 3.1 or the 3.4? It's going to be kind of hard to upgrade those engines, as the aftermarket for them isn't the best, but getting dual pipes won't be hard. You just need to put in a Y-splitter and you'll have the duals that my SS has. (No Monte has TRUE dual exhausts)

it is the 3.4i didnt one they even offered a 3.1 in the 00s. So there is no true dual exhaust? hmm, well what other mods are there for these without spending thousands.i already have a cold air intake fron spectre on it. how is that lower lip fastened then? thanks.

It's bolted in the wheel wells, and then there's a template that you drill sections and attach I believe.

You're right, they didn't make a 3.1 for 6th Gen... I just get so used to asking the engine types haha

Performance wise you are going to be stuck a little, and I'm not super familiar with those engines, maybe someone that has it can help a little more. Also you can check out sites like 60degreev6.com or milzymotorsports.com
