Hello guys. WEll i work at firestone and a guy came in with brake problems and 250 dollars later im the proud owner of a 97 Monte Carlo LS. It does have a crash on the side(not bad at all) and needs brakes but hey its an unbeatable deal 123,000 on the clock new intake gasket, new water pump, new tranny. new alternator also. oh well hope to find what i need to make this my cherrry DD as all ive ever driven(as right now) are old skool toyotas which right now dotn have AC and burn oil

take some photos of it and get them posted so we can see what your talking about when you ask us questions we have tons of information here so do some reading and serching and you will find all kinds of parts and info on your car.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, I'd like to see a progression of improvement. Don't worry if she isn't too pretty right now...we can see the potential.

 

Like Mickey said, we are all pretty knowledgable and there is a bunch of great info lurking in the dark corners of MCF, you just have to dig through to find it.
